How we work

The Observatory evidence method

Our reproducible system for separating operator claims, interface observations, third-party reports and regulator facts.

Our position: Every material statement is assigned a source type, checked date, confidence level and consequence if wrong.

Fast checklist

01Primary sources first
02Exact entity matching
03Visible uncertainty
04Corrections logged

Source hierarchy

Regulator registers and legislation lead for legal status. Current legal-entity terms lead for contractual rules. Dated transaction records lead for a specific payment event.

Affiliate reviews and search snippets are discovery sources. They can suggest questions, but copied claims do not become stronger when repeated.

Confidence language

Verified means the exact claim matches a primary source. Reported means a named source says it. Inferred means the evidence supports a conclusion but does not state it directly. Unknown means the essential proof is missing.

We avoid invented ratings and fake player testimonials. The site does not imply first-hand deposits, withdrawals or gameplay that did not occur.

Maintenance

Pages show the current review date. Time-sensitive facts such as bonuses, games and domains require re-checking. Structural explanations such as RTP maths change less often but still receive editorial review.

Corrections should identify the prior wording, new evidence and date. A transparent change is more trustworthy than silent certainty.

How to use this page

Start with the high-consequence fact, then follow the source. Keep the exact URL, checked date and any limitation beside your note. Do not convert “reported” into “verified”, and do not let a smooth interface or repeated claim replace an official record.

This site is designed for evidence gathering, not gambling access. Commercial partner links are disclosed and kept separate from the evidence assessment. If you need help with gambling rather than research, use the safer gambling page and contact an Australian professional service.
